RADIO VELOSO is a San Francisco quartet that plays instrumental modern groove music on drums, bass, guitar, and trumpet. The band combines elements of funk, cinematic soul, jazz, and psychedelic rock to make poolside groove music. The band formed in 2017 and has released three all-original EPs. A 4th EP is forthcoming.

RADIO VELOSO has shared the stage with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Mike Dillon Band, Lucky Chops, No B.S. Brass Band, and many others. The band has held monthly residencies at Madrone Art Bar and Off The Grid at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. RADIO VELOSO has performed at the Homestead Valley Music Festival and the Sunday Streets festival in SF, and has performed at venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including The Independent, The Boom Boom Room, Starline Social Club, Amnesia, The Ivy Room, and many others.
