He was the house photographer for the Fillmore and Warfield for twenty years\, and continues as the house photographer for the Paramount Theater\, Punch Line Comedy Club\, and Cobb’s Comedy Club. He has published three books\, including ¡SATIRISTAS! with Paul Provenza\, and Tuesday Tucks Me In\, selected by Amazon as The Best Children’s Non-Fiction book of 2016. This is his third exhibition at Madrone Art Bar. \nSpike’s OPEN MIC\nA San Francisco’s local music spotlight.\nEach afternoon we welcome in local talent for an opportunity to shine.\n5-9pm / No Cover\nSingers / Duets / Bands\nSign up on a first come first serve basis.\n6 person / 6 instrument max\n15 minuter per band (8 minutes to set up)\nDrum kit welcome  \nSUNDAY SESSIONS\n9:30PM-12:30PM\nNo Cover\nJoin organist Wil Blades for “Sunday Sessions” at Madrone. With weekly guests for some straight JAZZ\, NO CHASER!\nFrom cookin’ with Blues legend John Lee Hooker to organ summits with B-3 master Dr. Lonnie Smith to television and radio appearances\, young Wil Blades is gaining critical acclaim and international recognition. Having performed with legendary artists such as John Lee Hooker and Dr. Lonnie Smith\, Melvin Sparks\, Idris Muhammad\, Joe Louis Walker\, Don Braden\, Donald Harrison\, Karl Denson\, Will Bernard\, Scott Amendola\, Charlie Hunter\, Stanton Moore\, Betty Joplin\, Eddie Marshall\, Herbie Lewis\, and many others.  \n
