Born and raised in Siberia, Sofia studied at the Moscow Architectural Institute and received her Bachelor degree in Architecture. She spent a few years in New York City, where she was strongly influenced by the local art community and art culture. Being around so many creative minds led Sofia to explore her own voice in art. She currently resides and works in San Francisco, California.

Through her paintings, she creates a visual journey into a meditative state – a way to dive into a calm and balanced mind. Her interests lie in esoteric teachings and a better understanding of human nature.

She uses simple and bold shapes to create a refreshing effects that ultimately bring you back to the present moment.

Painting is a meditative process and she is hoping to spread this feeling through her work.

In this Madrone show, she is presenting a series of work that was created throughout recent years.

Varying in different mediums from block printing and collages to acrylic paint on canvas, all of them are an exploration of balance.

Suzanne Ramsey aka Kitten on the Keys is a Bay Area Native who has toured extensively through the US and Europe. Her songbook is deep and wide. Pianist, accordionist, and singer- she plays a hodge podge of styles and eras. Kitschy Cabaret Originals, bawdy blues, unexpected covers, and forgotten gems of yesteryear. Vibrant, vivacious, and super fun.

Each event showcases forward-thinking Producers, DJs, and visual artists exploring and channeling the spirit of hip hop via loops, chops, and samples. Featuring live music performances by a deep roster of beat-makers and DJs, coupled with original visual showcases in the heart of San Francisco.
