Suzanne Ramsey aka Kitten on the Keys is a Bay Area Native who has toured extensively through the US and Europe. Her songbook is deep and wide. Pianist, accordionist, and singer- she plays a hodge podge of styles and eras. Kitschy Cabaret Originals, bawdy blues, unexpected covers, and forgotten gems of yesteryear. Vibrant, vivacious, and super fun.

Freshly armed with a Jazz Piano Performance degree from UC Berkeley, LP Giobbi, was working a desk job at Another Planet Entertainment and wondering how to truly become the artist she knew she was. One day she walked by Madrone, saw the piano inside and wondered if that would be the gateway to her playing again. The next day, she called and asked if she could do a solo jazz residency there. They said yes, and the rest is history. It was the first time she performed in public, and was crucial to her development into the artist that she is today. It gave her confidence, but more importantly, it gave her drive. Today she’s a world touring DJ and producer, still indebted to that piano in Madrone, and in service to the first people that came to see her play jazz on it all those years ago.
